Perhaps it's because I missed an entry yesterday, or because I forgot to write all the news in the last entry...nevertheless, I have some more news to share regarding our adoption process to bring Julianna home.
In an earlier blog, I mentioned that we received letters of support from our family optometrist and our family pediatrician. Those letters we had notarized, apostilled, and mailed them to Sveta. She will be taking them with her to the judge tomorrow for favorable consideration of waving the ten day wait period to bring Julianna home.
Yesterday, we received a letter written by three of Angelo's therapists (physical therapist, speech and language, and developmental specialist). This co-signed letter was written in an effort to support our process and indicate the importance of bringing Julianna home quickly to "assimilate into the routine wand expectations with her new family." The three therapists also noted in their letter that they had a combined 80 years of experience in their professional fields. I, personally found that fact impressive, and comforting since they work with Angelo each week. The letter also outlined the importance of learning the language and social practices before the start of the new school year in September. All in all, a great letter of support.
The letter was signed and scanned to me. I electronically sent it to Sveta. If she can use it....great! If not, we will use the information to help us plead our case when we go to court.
Having the support of professionals such as these three and many, many others, is helping our adoption process to move smoothly. We have been blessed...with God opening many doors to the right people who have helped us thus far along the journey. Praise God!
