Today was another awesome day for Julianna.
Day 2 was the first day she rode the bus/van to and from school. She was a trooper. She also wore a 'real' ponytail that she played with at one point during the day. She even brought home her first library book. She was excited!
Day 3 found Julianna at the opthamologist in the morning to learn that she indeed has astigmatism that must be corrected with lenses. Julianna also wrote the letter B & P today. She is having no difficulty transitioning from one activity to the next. Julianna knows the routine already in her kindergarten class and helped a little boy put the sticker on his paper "just so." :)
We learned that the Russian translator will be able to assist in Julianna's MDE on October 4, which will expedite everything.
Julianna is thriving..sang the alphabet song all the way home from the pool.
I think Angelo is cutting a tooth...lots of biting and grinding of teeth...not typically normal for him.
And a special "thanks be to God" for helping Vincent LOVE his swim practice tonight...the key...? He made a new friend and can't wait to go back on Monday. That's Vinnie for you, who is demonstrating remarkably mature behavior these days. He is amazing with Julianna and always has been with Angelo. He commented how lonely he was without Julianna today when she went to afternoon kindergarten and he was home with siblings and Mom b/c Catholic schools were off today. What a good kid!
A busy...and productive day....Looking forward to Day 4!
