Last night after the annual relay invitational that our swim team hosts, Kenny, the kids, and I arrived home to find an e-mail from Victoria. Sveta had no news about Julianna's aunt's decision to sign-off. However, we did learn that we can indeed take our chest x-ray and blood test results (AIDS, syphilis, Hep B & C, and TB skin test). This will expedite our process and we will be seeing the panel of doctors in Moscow. Sveta will arrange all of this when she has a court date for us. Without the blood test results and chest x-ray, we will be in Moscow for several days! Now we know what we need.
Exceed...this is Vincent's "word of the day" - a little something that I have started with him over the summer to build vocabulary. To use it in a sentence...
The amount of paperwork necessary to complete this adoption has not exceeded my expectation.
I envisioned worse. But then, we don't have Julianna home yet!
