I just spoke with Annie via Skype at 3:00 AM eastern time. She and Dominic have made it to Moscow safely. I told her to call the driver so they would not need to stand outside in the smoke. She told me the smoke was inside the airport too. Actually, Annie said they could start to smell the smoke as they approached in the airplane. I guess it is very bad over there.
Now, only Annie can do the following with grace from God. It seems she started to talk with a lady on the plane. Where does this lady happen to work? Yes, the US embassy in Moscow. Therefore, this person was able to give Annie ALL the information she needs when they return next week for the visa processing. Also seems this lady and her husband are in the process of adopting a child independently from Russia. So Annie was able to answer a lot of her questions about the adoption process. Lastly, this person asked where Annie, Dominic, and Julianna will be staying in Moscow when they return next week. Annie said they did not have a place yet. So, this person offered that the three of them can stay in their apartment as Moscow is VERY expense to stay in.
They exchanged contact information so we will see how this new "connection" assists them in this never ending journey.
Stay tuned... Kenny.
