According to an update from Victoria today, Svetlana believes if she can get all sign offs from Julianna's relatives this week, she(Sveta) will be able to go to the judge on July 2 to get a court date for us. We are hoping that we can leave as early as July 10 for this much awaited occasion. This will depend on what dates the judge has available, remembering that court is only in session on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week. So...this is all good...and it is starting to get exciting. Kenny and I are in the process of securing our visas for the return trip. We will know tomorrow what Julianna's aunt decided about signing off her legal rights to her niece. Now...it is 5:30am on Monday morning in Nizhniy Novgorod. We will know when we awake tomorrow...or at least by lunch time.
On the home front...we spent several hours at the pool with the kids (Dom had to work). Attached is a video of the fun that our youngest Licata experienced with his big sister, Francesca!
Love following your story. Your children are BEAUTIFUL. Your little Angelo absolutely stole my heart on the video!! Ok, this is a bit off topic, but I have to know where to get one of those swim vests he was wearing! Funny, my husband and I were just talking today about how we have to find one, as it is the only kind that works well for our little ones who are not swimmers yet. Grandma has a 'ladybug' one that we use at her house, but of course, she has no idea where it came from... and I just cannot find them in any store. I know you are busy, busy, but if you have a free moment, any info is much appreciated! GOD Bless You All and your journey to your newest little love, Julianna. Godspeed and GOD Bless.
