The first flight was great. Just a 20 minute hop from Harrisburg, PA to Washington D.C. However, the second leg of our flight was a little longer. The flight was 9 hours and 45 minutes from Washington to Moscow. We left Washington at 5:00 PM EST and arrived in Moscow at 2:45 AM EST or 10:45 Easter morning here in Russia. We did get food on the flight…some vegetarian stuff and breakfast right before we got off. The flight was filled with mostly Russians returning home. Annie had the opportunity to share her seat, which was in the middle, with a very tall large Russian woman. We praised God when we landed safely.
