So, Dominic and I are on the plane to Moscow. While I was up at the bathroom, I met a little boy named Luca who was four years old. I spoke to his mom and discovered that she works at the Embassy in Moscow. She works with adoptions and is also in the process of adopting a little girl from Western Siberia. What a small world it is...As we talked, I told her our story and about our adventures sharing that we had adopted independently. She, too, is adopting independently. When she asked where we were staying in Moscow, I had to reply honestly..."no where yet." Here's the remarkable part, she offered for the three of us to stay with her family while we are in Moscow. I have her contact information and she told me to call her to let her know for sure. She also said that I can call her at the Embassy if I need anything before Monday, August 16.
God is amazing! Once again, I am in awe with how God carefully placed us on the same plane as this family. I am humbled by the way that God is working in our lives during this process.
